I really did think me, my bum knee, and my 16" chainsaw could clear a lot of this land over the course of a few months, but I was sadly mistaken. It wasn't so much about chopping down the brush and scrub trees, but what to do with it all once it was on the ground. I was tripping over everything and after the third time I fell, I realized that I was going to have to hire a forestry mulcher service to come out for the land clearing. They come out with this huge drum full of metal teeth on the front of this tractor and as it spins, it literally turns anything in its path to mulch. I really didn't want to, because it was about $2500, but honestly, its the best money I've ever spent. It was so amazing to see the land just open up like that.
